A big British audio brand just launched Bluetooth speakers that give off major JBL vibes — but for way cheaper

To say that Majority’s latest Bluetooth speakers take inspiration from JBL would be something of an understatement — though, to be fair, there are only so many ways you can design a portable speaker before they start looking familiar. That said, the new Move M1, M2, M3, and M4 models are attractive, well-equipped, and aggressively priced.

All four speakers are on sale now in the UK. Majority has also confirmed to TechRadar that it has secured a US distributor, with American launch details expected later this year.

The smallest model in the lineup is the Move M1, a palm-sized speaker delivering 12W of power and an eye-catching 70 hours of claimed battery life — an impressive figure for something this compact. It also features IPX5 water resistance, stereo pairing with a second unit, and hands-free calling via a connected smartphone. Pricing is set at £29.99 (around $40 / AU$60).

Stepping up is the Move M2, priced at £49.95 (roughly $70 / AU$100). This model outputs 30W, supports USB playback, aux input, and microSD cards, and adds dynamic LED lighting for a bit of visual flair. Battery life is rated at up to 30 hours.

The Move M3 shares much of the same feature set as the M2 but increases output to 40W, with a price tag of £79.95 (about $110 / AU$160).

At the top of the range sits the Move M4, the most powerful speaker of the lineup. It delivers 70W, supports Bluetooth 6.0, offers 30 hours of playback, and comes with IPX7 water resistance, making it fully waterproof. Like the M2 and M3, it includes USB, aux-in, and microSD inputs, along with stereo pairing and dynamic LED lighting. The Move M4 costs £119.95 (around $160 / AU$240).

With long battery life, lower prices than comparable JBL speakers, and the added bonus of microSD music playback, the Move range looks very appealing on paper. Majority has built a reputation for strong value products, but as always, real-world sound quality will be the deciding factor — and that’s something we’ll need to test before passing final judgment.
