The Samsung Galaxy Buds 4 and Galaxy Buds 4 Pro appear to be getting closer to launch, and a new leak highlighting both their design and features suggests we may not have to wait much longer to see them officially unveiled.

Noted leaker @AssembleDebug has shared screenshots from the Samsung Tips app that reference the Galaxy Buds 4. While it’s unclear exactly where these images originate from, they’re likely buried within the app itself — possibly hidden in a recent beta build of Samsung’s upcoming One UI 8.5.
The most striking takeaway from the leaked screenshots is the apparent redesign of the Galaxy Buds 4, which lines up with what earlier leaks have already hinted at. Samsung seems to be moving toward a flatter, more compact design, ditching some of the bulk seen in previous generations.
Given that the Galaxy Buds 3 and Galaxy Buds 3 Pro launched back in July 2024, a refresh around this time would make sense. That timing has fueled speculation that the Galaxy Buds 4 series could debut alongside the Galaxy S26 lineup, potentially as early as February.
Design changes are expected to be the headline update this year. In particular, the angular stem design introduced with the current models appears to be on its way out, replaced by a sleeker and more understated look.
Leaks also point to a redesigned charging case. Unlike previous models, where only the top portion of the case flips open, the new case is said to open fully, clearly displaying the earbuds inside. The buds themselves slot into the case with their stems facing outward, marking a noticeable shift in layout.
Beyond aesthetics, the leak suggests the Galaxy Buds 4 series will support head gesture controls. Users would be able to nod or shake their heads to answer or reject calls — a feature that closely mirrors functionality already available on Apple’s AirPods.
Another rumored upgrade is support for Ultra-Wideband (UWB) connectivity. If included, this could enable higher-quality audio playback and more precise location tracking. As always, however, these details remain unconfirmed until Samsung officially announces the devices.
